In past there was an application named as Connectify which was use for making Windows 7 turns into a Wi-Fi hotspot. At that time developers introduced the beta version that was free to download. And this time we are here with another good application titled as “Virtual Router” beta version was actually released few days ago in order to use Microsoft Windows 7 and Windows Server 2003 R2 as a virtual Wi-Fi.  This software application unlikely released on Codeplex which basically suggest that the  software will remain a free version after that the final version has been released.

Anyways lets have a look towards its details so this program contains few options in its interface. The most important thing of course is the Start Virtual Router button. Because this button will be active if the PC has wireless adapter connected or supported. In other options it has changing the network name , a password feature ( it is recommended as the default password is always same) . Another feature it has a WPA2 Encryption for security which is definitely a good protection for Wireless network.
