PS3 controllers  have had the same design since 1994, when the original console was released. Sony in 2005 introduced Dual Shock 3 which did not have a great response, so it moved back to something which was more familiar to people. The new controller because of its freedom of six degrees is called SIXAXIS. It is motion sensitive. There is not much difference in the controls and they are almost similar to one on Dual Shock Controllers. This motion controller can be used both wired as well as wireless depending on how you want to use it. If you have a PlayStation then games are inevitable.
