How to Fix Crash and Restart problem in Windows XP
Windows XP users must familiar with the problem which may occur many times that it will might crash due to the Cache or any other file problem and in result it restart automatically so that your work will be incomplete and you face the problem to complete your work . The main reason for this problem is due to the files in windows, which continuously running on your system, and gets a sudden errors so that windows XP might crash and will let your system towards restart. Some of us think that in order to resolve the issue we must format our hard disk and reinstall the operating system might help, but this is some how time consuming task so its better to fix the problems with the current operating system . Therefore in below steps i will guide you about the Fix we perform.
Fix No. 1 :-
As Windows XP shutdowns properly so normally it take a backup of all files which are related to Windows XP and many other important files and suppose if your PC will fails to reboot Windows XP next time so you can restore the files .
What you have to do ? just press the F8 key when the windows will reboot and the choose the option “Restore last known good settings that previously worked”.
Might the above step will not work then follow the next step
Fix No. 2 :-
The problem can also be solved by using system restore utility in Windows XP. Now just do the same step as we done before as your system will reboot press F8 key and now you have to choose “Safe Mode” option and press Enter.
Safe Mode option will disable the windows XP startup programs which will automatically run during normal startup. So now after log on your self in a Safe Mode just follow the steps:-
1- Just got “Start” then click “Run”
2- Now type msconfig.
3- Now just click on “Launch System restore” and then click “Next”.
4- Now click on “Restore my system to an earlier time”.
5- Now click on “Next” button and on the windows choose a Restore point and Click Next.
6- Now Windows will be reboot and launch the system restores as you have done by yourself so that all files will now be resorted.
Fix No. 3 :-
In the third Fix you can use another Operating system which will help you in finding an corrupted or suspicious files which will now allow you to boot into your system.
The only thing you have to do just Install a Live Linux version like Ubunto.
Now find your suspicious files which are not allowing the windows to boot the files to load.
Fix No. 4 :-
In this fixing process the only thing you just do is an inset the Windows XP installation disk and then must choose “Perform additional task” and after selecting this option you just choose “Repair” option to Fix the Windows Error.
And in last if you still not solving your problem then just format your disk and Reinstall .
